Graston Technique

Graston Technique

Instrument assisted soft tissue is the use of special instruments to improve range of motion and decrease pain in an area of the body that may be compromised due to scar tissue and/or adhesions. This can be done passively or actively with the patient performing different movements in varying ranges of motion. Often times this procedure can cause skin redness and sensitivity that typically only lasts a short time after treatment.

Dr. Andrew Kiper, Dr. Samuel Pare and Dr. Ivette Mendez of Lakeside Spine & Wellness in Ravenswood Chicago, specialize in this effective procedure to help reduce tissue adhesions, loss of range of motion, and pain in many areas of the body.
